Parsel Billing Model: Threshold-Based Simplicity

Last updated June 18, 2025

Parsel offers a straightforward, usage-based billing system designed to make payments predictable and efficient. Here’s how it works:

How Billing Works

Parsel only charges you when you ship. Charges are automatically triggered by your shipping activity or a weekly cadence — whichever comes first.

Billing Schedule

  • You’ll be billed once a week on the same day you signed up for Parsel. Example: If you signed up on a Tuesday, you’ll be billed every Tuesday.
  • This weekly billing ensures regular, predictable payment cycles for easy expense management.

Usage Threshold: $250

  • If your shipping activity hits $250 before your weekly billing date, Parsel will process a payment immediately.
  • Your regular weekly billing will still occur as scheduled, even if an earlier payment is triggered by the threshold.

Managing Your Payments

  • Go to the Billing menu in your dashboard to access invoices, payment history, and receipts.

What Happens with Failed Payments

  • If a payment fails, your ability to purchase shipping labels will be temporarily disabled.
  • Once payment is successful, shipping label access is restored instantly.

Why This Matters:

  • You’re only billed when you use the platform to ship.
  • The $250 threshold helps maintain uninterrupted shipping services by keeping your account in good standing.
  • Weekly billing provides predictable, manageable payment timing that aligns with business needs.
