Parsel offers a straightforward, usage-based billing system designed to make payments predictable and efficient. Here’s how it works:

Parsel only charges you when you ship. Charges are automatically triggered by 

 on the same day you signed up for Parsel.
 

Example: If you signed up on a Tuesday, you’ll be billed every Tuesday.

This weekly billing ensures regular, predictable payment cycles for easy expense management.
 

 before your weekly billing date, Parsel will process a payment immediately.
 

Your regular weekly billing will still occur as scheduled, even if an earlier payment is triggered by the threshold.

Parsel Billing Model: Threshold-Based Simplicity

Efficiently managing your payment methods ensures uninterrupted service and helps track your shipping expenses clearly. Here's a quick guide to add, update, or remove payment methods

Choose between Credit Card, Google Pay, and a US bank account.

Add the details as necessary, then save your changes.

Click the "X" next to the payment method to delete it.

Regularly review and update payment methods, especially expiration dates.

Keep at least one active payment method to avoid service disruptions.

Failed payments disable label purchasing; once resolved, allow up to one hour to resume shipping.

Credit Card payments will incur a 3% processing fee. To avoid this fee use a US bank account.

Accessing Invoice History

Parsel uses a pre-authorization charge of $250 to verify credit card validity and ensure sufficient funds are available before allowing users to purchase shipping labels. Here’s what you need to know about pre-authorization:

Pre-authorization is a temporary hold placed on your credit card to verify that your card is valid and has sufficient available funds. The hold amount ($250) is not actually charged to your account but temporarily reduces your available credit.

To ensure funds are available to cover upcoming shipping label purchases.

Ensure sufficient funds or available credit on your card before verifying to avoid failed verifications.

Contact your bank if the authorization hold doesn't release within the expected timeframe.

Pre-authorization Charges

 (often following a failed payment attempt) but are still unable to purchase labels in Parsel, here's what you need to know:

Our system has been updated! Once you complete a payment through Stripe, your account is now updated 

you no longer need to wait up to 15 minutes.

If you're still unable to purchase labels right after making a payment, try the following:

Refresh the Parsel app or browser window.
 

Double-check that your payment was successful on your end.
